Elevate your special occasions against the picturesque backdrop of Gilchrist Farm, located in downtown Suttons Bay. Our space is ideal for hosting rehearsal dinners, baby shower brunches, and corporate cocktail hours alike!

Choose between full-day (10a - 10p) exclusivity or a partial-day (4-hour) rental. An exclusive rental ensures privacy, with Gilchrist Farm closed to the public, granting you and your guests access to our dining room, bar, and patio (weather permitting).

Dining room rental

Our dining room offers a uniquely charming setting for intimate gatherings. Adorned with local artworks, warmed by a cozy fireplace, and illuminated by generous natural light, the dining room is versatile in its design and can be tailored to various event styles and layouts, accommodating both standing receptions and seated affairs.

Kindly be aware that reserving the dining room does not guarantee exclusive access to Gilchrist Farm; the bar and patio will remain open to the public.

 FAQs

  • We ask that you exclusively use Gilchrist Farm for food and wine. Desserts and cakes from outside vendors are permitted; depending on your selection and our involvement, a small cake-cutting fee may apply.

    We have preferred vendors for rentals and expanded bar services (beer and cocktails), meaning we only permit the use of those specific companies when renting our space.

    For all other vendors, such as florists, coordinators, and photographers, we have a list of recommendations, but you are more than welcome to work with whomever.

  • Yes! We would love to host a private tasting session or cocktail hour for your group, however, you are still required to meet our food and beverage minimum, which is determined by the season/day/time of your event.

  • For 2024, we are unable to host private events on the following dates:

    April 31, May 27, July 4, September 2, November 28 - 29, December 24 - 25, January 1 - 12, 2025

    Other blackout dates may apply. Please reach out to inquire about availability.
